Ford vehicles with 2.0L Single-Turbo/2.0L Bi-Turbo engines are fully-compatible with biodiesel blends up to 20% (B20) according to specification standards of B20 biodiesel fuel promoted by the Malaysian government.

Ford vehicles with 2.2L/3.2L Duratorq diesel engines will require a B20-compliant fuel filter and bracket assembly to be installed by Ford Authorised Dealer with the fuel filter element requiring replacement every 10,000KM. Alternatively, Ford owners may also opt to use diesel with lower biodiesel content, such as Diesel EURO5 with B7 (Biodiesel 7%) blend, which are available at fuel stations.
