As Asia Pacific’s only factory-built performance truck for high-speed off-roading, the Ranger Raptor is bred from Ford Performance DNA that is forged in the crucible of extreme desert races spanning Mexico’s Baja California peninsula to Australia’s Northern Territory outback.
The next-generation Ford Ranger Raptor 2.0L Bi-Turbo Diesel features two turbos working in tandem with high-pressure turbo for low-speed torque and low-pressure turbo for high-speed horsepower to achieve optimal torque curve as well as efficient fuel economy.
Mated to e-shifter 10-speed automatic transmission, the Raptor Bi-Turbo Diesel delivers up to 210PS @ 3750rpm and 500NM @ 1750–2000rpm while offering a competitive 8.2L/100KM fuel consumption aided by energy-saving designs such as high-efficiency alternators, battery monitoring system, stop/start function and active transmission warmup among others.
On top of its impressive powertrains, the next-generation Ford Ranger Raptor has also proven itself as a supremely capable overlanding pickup truck with its outstanding completion of Baja 1000 – one of the world’s toughest off-road endurance races – virtually out of the box!
